I thought it was pretty good, really. Anne Hathaway did a good job as Jane. It was highly romanticized, but that makes a good movie. I definately appreciated the ending - it made sure not to leave me feeling all sad and depressed, a good compromise. I definately liked it much better than P&P3 - Keira Knightley is a good actress, but I could not like her for the role of Elizabeth. And it was definately about time someone made a good movie about Jane Austen, rather than just her books. I also liked how her own mother and father compared to Mr. & Mrs. Bennet and how they showed her finding key phrases to include in her novels. On the whole, I liked it very well, but I enjoy the novel adaptations better - much more romance and happy endings.
